Lavanda di Toscana wird im Herzen des Chianti geboren

Lavanda di Toscana kultiviert in den Hügeln des Chianti Classico zwischen Siena und Florenz im Herzen der Toskana zwei Lavendelsorten: Offizinallavendel und Toskanischer Lavandin.
Im Sommer schneiden geschickte Hände die Lavendelpflanzen und beginnen dann den Destillationsprozess. Die Destillationen werden natürlich nach Sorten getrennt, denn jede Sorte ergibt ein ätherisches Öl, das sich sowohl im Duft als auch in der Konzentration der Wirkstoffe unterscheidet.
Das ätherische Öl des toskanischen Lavandins ist balsamischer in der Nase und reich an Kampfer, was es sehr geeignet für die Behandlung von grippeähnlichen Zuständen macht.
Das ätherische Öl des Lavendels (lavandula officinalis) hat einen sehr zarten Duft, aber einen viel höheren Anteil an Wirkstoffen als jede andere Sorte, weshalb es häufig in medizinischen und kosmetischen Präparaten verwendet wird.

Lavanda di Toscana is born in the heart of Chianti

Lavanda di Toscana cultivates two varieties of lavender in the Chianti Classico hills between Siena and Florence in the heart of Tuscany: officinal lavender and Tuscan lavandin.
In summer, skilful hands cut the lavender plants and then start the distillation process. The distillations are obviously separated by variety because each variety produces an essential oil that is different both in terms of scent and concentration of active ingredients.
Tuscan lavandin essential oil is more balsamic to the nose and rich in camphor, which makes it very suitable for treating flu-like conditions.
Lavender (lavandula officinalis) essential oil has a very delicate fragrance but has much higher percentages of active ingredients than any other variety, which is why it is widely used in medical and cosmetic preparations.

We grow our lavender organically, with the aim of banning the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers. We are ICEA certified .

It means that our products do NOT contain SLS/SLES - EDTA, Parabens, Petrolati, Heavy Metals, Phthalates and synthetic fragrances, MEA - TEA - DEA and Formaldehyde.

It means that all our products come from a short supply chain process, but more importantly, our lavender fields are in Tuscany and all processing is done here.

It means that none of our finished products or a single ingredient in them has been tested on animals, and never will be.

It means that all our products have been tested to be free of heavy metals, such as Nickel, Cobalt, Cadmium, Mercury, Chromium and Antimony.

We only use alcohol of vegetable origin, and only for products that really require it.

Our essential oils are of the highest quality, obtained by steam distillation. Organic cultivation results in a natural, food-grade organic essential oil.
