Thymianhydrolat oder Thymianblütenwasser wird durch Destillation der Blätter gewonnen und bewahrt alle wertvollen Eigenschaften der Pflanze.
Der Thymian, der zur Herstellung dieses Hydrolats verwendet wird, wird in der Provinz Teramo auf einem kleinen Bauernhof angebaut, wo die Blüten und Blätter von Hand geerntet werden, wenn die Pflanze am besten gedeiht.Dieses Hydrolat wird durch Wasserdampfdestillation aus Thymianblüten gewonnen, die auf einer kleinen Farm in der Provinz Teramo von Hand geerntet werden. Dank dieser besonderen Verarbeitung bleiben alle Eigenschaften der Pflanze erhalten. Seine reinigende und positive Wirkung macht das Hydrolat zur idealen Pflegeergänzung bei gereizter oder zu Akne neigender Haut.

Anwendung:

• Kann pur, direkt auf Haut aufgesprüht werden - die Creme kann danach in die feuchte Haut einmassiert werden.
• Da das Hydrolat alkoholfrei ist, kann es auch für sensible Hauttypen, als After-Sun-Pflege oder als Make-up-Entferner verwendet werden. Es sollte dabei in die wässrige Phase eingearbeitet werden.

Die Hydrolate von La Saponaria sind Blütenwasser, die durch Destillation von frischgepflückten Heilpflanzen gewonnen werden, sodass damit all ihre Wirkstoffe und Eigenschaften bestmöglich erhalten bleiben.

Bei dem Vorgang der Destillation der einzelnen Pflanzen entstehen zwei Substanzen: Hydrolat und ätherisches Öl. In der ersten konzentrieren sich die wasserlöslichen Bestandteile, in der zweiten die öllöslichen.
Die Hydrolate sind die perfekte wässrige Basis für selbstgemachte Kosmetika und können auch pur oder gemischt auf der Haut angewandt werden. Als Tonic sind sie optimal um die Haut zu erfrischen, Unreinheiten zu entfernen oder Schwellungen um die Augen zu mindern.

Die Bio-Hydrolate sind völlig frei von Alkohol. Nachdem La Saponaria auf Transparenz setzt, werden die Inhaltsstoffe (INCI) der Blütenwasser in den neuen Chargen ganz detailliert angegeben, auch wenn keinerlei gesetzliche Verpflichtung dazu besteht.

Darunter finden sich möglicherweise Substanzen wie Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate o.ä. - hierbei handelt es sich nicht um eine Form von Alkohol, oder zugesetzte Konservierungsmittel, sondern um natürliche Bestandteile von ätherischen Ölen, bzw. der Blütenwasser.
